HR initiatives at our workplace are generally ignored and the emails which we receive from them usually goes into Trash folder ( unless it is some award/ certificate/ recognition/ monetary information).And if there is any “Team Building Activity” it is greeted with a big yawn. Poor HR fellows. They are always treated with a ”Touch me not” kind of attitude. Remember the HR interviews and sometimes they are the reason why we do not get that much sought after lucrative job. And what about the special occasion gatherings done on festivals. They have to send repeated reminders so that we can grace the occasion with our presence. On such days Internet connection should be disconnected for some time so that everybody move themselves from their cubicle and people who take leave; It should be unpaid leave !! Nevertheless, if this category is not present, then you would not be knowing the name of the person who sits next to you. HR division is trying that colleagues at least like them ( Love factor will never come into play ).I am sure I will be in the hit list if my HR manager reads it !! |
